Most of the books here are displayed on large tables rather than on shelves, meaning that this place looks more like a bazaar than it does a shop. The choice of books is reflective of the kind of person who lives in Kreuzberg: open minded, politically active and mostly skint! Many books here are offered at a discount, which makes it popular with the locals. The largest section is the Berlin section which contains alternative travel guides, little-read novels and works by young local writers.
