With a collection of over 350,000 books, the Kunstbibliothek is one of Germany's largest libraries devoted solely to art. The library also contains a broad collection of prints, photographs and posters, as well as putting on temporary exhibitions. The library is well organised and well catalogued. Yet those wanting to borrow books will be disappointed - this is a reading library only. The reading rooms are pleasantly quiet and are perfect for study and research.
