This mixture of grocery, corner shop and delicatessen is a Berlin institution. Any Berliner concerned about his reputation will buy his butter here—but only the unwrapped version, fresh from the churn. Freshness and cleanliness are definitely top priority in Butter Lindner. And that's why this Berlin chain, with 46 branches over the city, can be found on Greenpeace's list of retailers who do not sell any genetically modified products. Butter Lindner has at least one branch in each of Berlin's districts.
