Opened in December 2007, Maiboomboom is a stylish Sushi and Cocktail bar with trendy Asian interior design. Wall-size images of a Tokyo street decorate this modern establishment and even sex scenes from a Japanese film are shown here. The savory sushi creations are called after several Japanese movies and carry names like "Eleven Hungry Cats". Asian finger food, salads and beef & chicken dishes are served in addition to sushi. Maiboomboom's "Sushi Berlin Roll" has already become a highlight on their menu as almost every customer is asking for it.
