This is the German version of McDonalds, but instead of hamburgers it sells fish burgers as well as other kinds of fish in all shapes and sizes. Nordsee is an expanding chain of fish restaurants with 300 branches in Germany, 16 of which are in Berlin. Founded in the northern city of Bremen a hundred years ago, Nordsee shot to fame in the seventies with hearty fish dishes at knock-down prices. Most branches have a fresh fish counter and a few tables where you can dig into your north sea specialities. The larger branches have proper restaurant sections. Review © 2009, Wcities |
