Although it can't compete with the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, the Greenwich Promenade in Alt Tegel is a pleasant place to relax and get away from the stress of city life. Stretching along the shores of Lake Tegeler See and with a good selection of restaurants in the town centre, Alt Tegel has the atmosphere of a seaside resort. One of the most interesting parts of the area is the old port which also the starting point for boat trips to Wannsee. And best of all - Alt Tegel is just twenty minutes train ride from Berlin's city centre.
