Located next door to the recently restored New Synagogue in Berlin's old Jewish quarter, Oren is a popular Jewish restaurant with a distinctively oriental flavour. Perusing the menu is like taking a journey through the Orient, from Maghreb to the Middle East. Further diversity is provided by seasonal specials such as the Moroccan Week. Starters range from EUR3-EUR8, main dishes from EUR5.50-EUR13.50. Hungry guests should check out the Orient Express, an enormous platter brimming with a variety of Middle Eastern specialities.
