Planet Berlin's universe appears very orderly upon first inspection. The clothes are displayed on gleaming metal hangers and stocked in neat piles, just like everywhere else on nearby Ku'damm. But if you take a closer look, you'll see that this place has little in common with an ordinary clothes store. Founded by a couple of enterprising musicians in 1985, Planet supplies Berlin's party-people with the coolest, hippest, most extravagant and most outrageous outfits in town. The type of stuff that triggers sniggers and attracts disbelieving looks in more conservative quarters. Yet do not fear! The minute you hit the club or head for the Love Parade, you'll be perfectly dressed for the occasion.
