Located within the expansive KulturBrauerei, this vibrant theater is a celebration of Russian dramatic arts, both past and present. In the 1920s, a Russian immigrant named Boris Romanov first brought the concept of such a theater to life with the Russisches Kammertheater (RKT), which was a very popular and successful venture for many years. In 1997 the theater was revived, and to this day remains the only establishment of its kind in the city. Now you can find a wide range of Russian satires, comedies, and tragedies gracing the stage, all showcasing the rich and varied culture of the Russian people. Review © 2009, Wcities |
