If after spending some time here you feel like a smoked salmon, don't worry: it is normal. The café - referring to itself as Black and Sour - is more like a cigar bar than a coffeehouse, even though nobody actually smokes cigars here. The walls are painted in a rusty shade of brown and the huge windows and the quadrangular bar are a classy. Students and other youngsters spend all day long discussing, reading the papers, or developing new philosophical theories. In the evening it becomes more and more difficult to get a seat, as the café located near Prater and Kulturbrauerei is very popular. Review © 2009, Wcities |
