The question most customers ask is whether this place is a French brasserie or a German tavern. The answer remains unclear, but the speciality of the house, Alsatian Flammkuchen (a kind of pizza with cream, onions and bacon), offers a taste of both. Storch attracts a mixed crowd, from long-haired students to immaculately-dressed business people, sitting side-by-side at the long wooden tables, and is almost always full to the gunnels.
