Named after the old tram which has been cleverly integrated into the interior and converted into a bar, Straßenbahn is popular with Berlin's alternative scene, ranging from audacious young radicals to calmer, middle-aged idealists. The menu offers the usual range of drinks as well as small, healthy dishes such as vegetable flans and salads. Non-smokers, however, are still banished to a small room at the back.
