An organised bus tour is the quickest and easiest way to see all of Berlin's major sights. Three different operators run similar tours at comparable rates. All tours start from Ku'damm or Alexanderplatz and run regularly from 10am-6pm. The classic "Berlin City Tour" lasts about two hours and costs around EUR 15. A three-hour "Super Berlin Tour" takes in even more sights and is only moderately more expensive EUR 20. The advantage of these tours is that you get all of the main tourist attractions done in one go and can then go out and discover the "real" Berlin at ease.

A cheap alternative to an organised tour is a trip on the no. 100 bus. Departing from the bus station at Zoologischer Garten, the 100 bus connects the western inner city with the eastern city centre. The bus passes many famous sights along the way, including the Memorial Church on Ku'damm, the Victory Column and Bellvue Palace in the Tiergarten, the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate, the State Opera on Unter den Linden and the TV Tower at Alexanderplatz. End station is Prenzlauer Allee from where you can explore the beautiful and exciting Prenzlauer Berg district. A two hour ticket EUR 2 or day ticket EUR 5 will allow you to get out wherever you want and then hop back onto the next bus. Buses run every ten minutes.
