Walking into Vivolo is like stepping into the Alhambra in Granada. The decor consists of terra cotta walls with colorful tiles depicting Moorish motifs, a fountain, and a 4-meter high candelabra. Legs of Serrano ham hanging over the bar displaying countless tapas further play into the Spanish theme. Since the restaurant is actually in the famed Hackescher Markt, you can feel the rumble of the occasional train thundering past. The authentic, Spanish menu includes Paella as well as numerous tapas.
