Everything here seems to be made of wood: the floorboards, the shelves, the wine cases - only the bottles gleam as only glass can, lit up by the amber-coloured chandeliers which hang from the ceiling. This wine specialist in Prenzlauer Berg's Winsstraße was founded seven years ago, and while the stock is fairly standard, you'll still stumble across some surprises. All the major wine growing regions are represented, as too is organic wine, some of which is sold in returnable bottles. Several spirits and liquors are sold directly from the barrel, so bring a bottle - or buy one here! Most customers come from nearby, often students attracted by the decent prices.
