This former market hall serves good-old German specialties such as rheinischer sauerbraten (braised beef marinated in vinegar and herbs) and wiener schnitzel in rustic surroundings. The portions are large and the prices fair. Large groups come here to breakfast together, and smaller groups for a taste of local culture. The basement is home to the Privat Club, which hosts jazz concerts and club events. For those who like their music and their food. A full bar with a selection of beer, wine and spirits are available.
