Lively Winterfeldt Platz Market is a real Berlin institution. The broad square near Nollendorfplatz is surrounded by cafés like Berio, snack bars such as Habibi and bars like Slumberland, which offer welcome refreshment after a hard morning's shopping. The goods on offer have their price, but the quality is of a very high standard. There is a wide range of fresh local vegetables, meats, cheeses, health food and flowers, as well as a variety of odds and ends.
