Apart from the usual range of German publications, this chain is best known for selling books well below the recommended retail price. Germany still has legally fixed prices for books, and this shop cleverly evades the law by declaring some books as being returns or seconds. Numerous branches can now be found all over the city, mostly on the major shopping streets and in larger shopping centres.
