In the early nineties the cigar industry boomed once again. And even though the enthusiasm waned during the past years, there are still quite a few devotees of fine Caribbean tobacco. Dr. Maximilian Herzog's cigar store on trendy Ludwigkirchplatz still is the smoker's most popular meeting place. The clients deeply appreciate the casual ambience in the fancy tobacconist's, which offers them not only an art-nouveau salon to try their own cigars, but also a temperate storage room full of small cigar boxes to store their own perfumed treasures.
