Crescent Bar and Grill

No frills or lawyers
413 North Orchard Street
Boise, ID 83706
United States
+1 208 322 9856
This what you see is what you get bar has over a dozen big-screen televisions. For the sports nut, the satellite will pick up any game, any time. This neighborhood bar's mantra, "no lawyers," which has been on its sign for decades, holds true. If you practice law, and relish an old-style sports watering hole, keep your mouth shut. Pool tables are free to visitors during the day. The bar's clientèle ranges from college-kids to old-aged. Got the munchies? Standard American fare is served here.

End Zone

Charming sports dive
1010 Broadway Avenue
Boise, ID 83706
United States
+1 208 384 0613
For the cost-efficient, sports-minded patron or those seeking the irresistible charm of a "dive," this place will pacify your desires. Customers grab 32-ounce "tubs" of cheap beer, toss peanut shells on the floor, mingle with the younger crowd and test their shuffleboard skills—not the shuffleboard played on cruise ships, mind you. If smoke-filled atmospheres don't bother you, this may be your little heaven. The owners/bartenders are also worthwhile conversationalists. The bar is located across the street from Bronco Stadium.

Old Chicago

Good beer is here
730 West Idaho Street
Boise, ID 83702
United States
+1 208 363 0037
This local favorite offers one of the best draft beer selections in the area. In fact, there are more than 100 draft and bottled beers from around the planet. Pizzas and Italian-style sandwiches highlight the solid menu. Boise State University (BSU), University of Idaho (UI) and Chicago sports memorabilia, along with numerous televisions, decorate most of the interiors. Many of its patrons are UI and BSU alumni. Weekend nights are often crowded, and the lighting is bright. If you are from Chicago, have fun, but don't expect to feel in your element.
