Louie's Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Idaho Italian tradition
620 West Idaho Street
Boise, ID 83702
United States
+1 208 344 5200
In the restaurant business for 35 years, the Mallane family has cooked up Italian food for generations of Idahoans. The original Ketchum location became a tradition, and the Boise restaurant is taking over that reputation. The brick-walled restaurant, located in downtown Boise, knows how to please a hearty appetite as well as the pocketbook. All of the traditional dishes are here, from pizza to Veal Parmesan, and diners can also select big family-style dinners.

Old Chicago

Good beer is here
730 West Idaho Street
Boise, ID 83702
United States
+1 208 363 0037
This local favorite offers one of the best draft beer selections in the area. In fact, there are more than 100 draft and bottled beers from around the planet. Pizzas and Italian-style sandwiches highlight the solid menu. Boise State University (BSU), University of Idaho (UI) and Chicago sports memorabilia, along with numerous televisions, decorate most of the interiors. Many of its patrons are UI and BSU alumni. Weekend nights are often crowded, and the lighting is bright. If you are from Chicago, have fun, but don't expect to feel in your element.

daVinci's

Idaho meets New York Italian
190 East State Street
Boise, ID 83616
United States
+1 208 939 2500
A downtown Eagle historic building, about 15 minutes west of Boise, is home to this festive, friendly Italian eatery. Open for dinner only, the vividly painted restaurant specializes in generous portions. Diners can select from the standard spaghetti and meatballs, or can try something a little more exciting like the Roman; scallops and linguine tossed with a red sauce. All meals come with an endless salad, and the desserts are decadent.
