Serving specialty pizzas, this funky little joint has become a Boise tradition. The list of pizza choices seems endless, from traditional pies like the Contest Combo with pepperoni, sausage, olives and mushrooms, to the nontraditional, such as the Acapulco Verde with black bean sauce, onions, tomatillo sauce and tomatoes. There are even pesto pizzas, chicken pizzas and vegetarian pizzas. Side orders include salads and bread sticks. A wide selection of beverages is available, from wine coolers and beer to soft drinks.

The sign is flashy. There are brightly colored food items, and the selection is overwhelming. But this eatery, located in the Boise Towne Square Mall, pleases everyone. Low-key and casual, the 10 restaurants represented here are perfect for large groups that can't agree on a single restaurant. Under one roof, diners will find Mario's Pizza, Kelly's Cajun Grill, Edo-Japan, Great Steak and Potato Co., Courtside Deli, Panda Express and a variety of chain restaurants. Louie's Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Idaho Italian tradition
620 West Idaho Street
Boise, ID 83702
United States
+1 208 344 5200
In the restaurant business for 35 years, the Mallane family has cooked up Italian food for generations of Idahoans. The original Ketchum location became a tradition, and the Boise restaurant is taking over that reputation. The brick-walled restaurant, located in downtown Boise, knows how to please a hearty appetite as well as the pocketbook. All of the traditional dishes are here, from pizza to Veal Parmesan, and diners can also select big family-style dinners.

Lucky 13

Funky eatery in historic neighborhood
1602 North 13th Street
Boise, ID 83702
United States
+1 208 344 6967
Umbrella-covered patio tables spill out almost onto the sidewalk at this pizza joint in Boise's historic Hyde Park. In the summer, customers mingle, sipping cold beverages and munching on pizza slices. You can still see remnants of the restaurant's gas station origins, but this pizza parlor has been serving up pizza, not gasoline, since 1984. Try one of the specialties like the Camel's Back Pork Pie, named after a Boise landmark, or build your own pizza. A variety of sandwiches, named after Hyde Park Streets, and drinks, including wine and microbrews, are also available.

Old Chicago

Good beer is here
730 West Idaho Street
Boise, ID 83702
United States
+1 208 363 0037
This local favorite offers one of the best draft beer selections in the area. In fact, there are more than 100 draft and bottled beers from around the planet. Pizzas and Italian-style sandwiches highlight the solid menu. Boise State University (BSU), University of Idaho (UI) and Chicago sports memorabilia, along with numerous televisions, decorate most of the interiors. Many of its patrons are UI and BSU alumni. Weekend nights are often crowded, and the lighting is bright. If you are from Chicago, have fun, but don't expect to feel in your element.

daVinci's

Idaho meets New York Italian
190 East State Street
Boise, ID 83616
United States
+1 208 939 2500
A downtown Eagle historic building, about 15 minutes west of Boise, is home to this festive, friendly Italian eatery. Open for dinner only, the vividly painted restaurant specializes in generous portions. Diners can select from the standard spaghetti and meatballs, or can try something a little more exciting like the Roman; scallops and linguine tossed with a red sauce. All meals come with an endless salad, and the desserts are decadent.
