Bologna's best pizza |
Piazza San Martino 9 Bologna 40126 Italy +39 51 23 2502 |
Many consider Nicola's to be the best pizza in Bologna: the crust is excellent, there is plenty of topping and the price is not high. It is located in Piazza San Martino close to Montagnola and the Ghetto. The interior is elegant with wood finishings and pastel colored walls. Despite the fact that the interior of the restaurant is very welcoming, the best time to eat here is in spring and summer, when tables are set up outside in the lovely square. They also serve a variety of well-prepared fish dishes. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Famous, elegant, select clientele |
Via Indipendenza 24 Bologna 40121 Italy +39 51 23 1302 |
This famous restaurant can be found in the heart of the old town, in one of the more well-known streets, an easy and pleasant walk from the Piazza Maggiore. The atmosphere is formal, the decor is old: simple with attention paid to detail. The kitchen offers typical Bolognese dishes: soup with tortellini, tagliatelle with sauce, roast beef, boiled beef, and more. Traditional rice tart and ice cream are dessert menu specialties.
