This restaurant on the outskirts of the North End keeps to traditional formulas for authentic Italian food. The main dining room has oak furnishings, crisp linens and comfortable red booths. The chef/owner, a native Italian, buys only the freshest meats, produce and seafood. The kitchen serves handmade pasta and the wine cellar has won the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence since 1987.
