The Hi-Rise Bread Company is a very popular Harvard Square establishment. Located in the historic yellow clapboard Blacksmith House, the bakery serves up some amazing goods with top-rate breads, pies and cookies. Tasty treats include the cranberry crumble tart and lemon curd cake. The bakery also serves sandwiches and soups and does a brisk takeout business. Prices are a little high but are well worth it.
