Every Sunday, June through August, the side lawn of the Longfellow House, offers the chance to enjoy poetry readings and classical music at the former home of American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. William Jay Smith, Galway Kinnell, Grace Schulman and Maria Mazziotti Gillan have been among the poets visiting in recent years. The musical groups range from Armenian and Brazilian to classical performers. Seating is limited; bring a lawn chair or blanket.
