Maluken Japanese Restaurant, located in Kenmore Square, is popular for several reasons. With Japanese decor and waitresses outfitted in kimonos, the restaurant serves the standard Japanese fare with a sit-down sushi bar. The grilled yellow tail rolls and salmon sushi are quite good. But the big attraction after 9pm is the Karaoke with Japanese, Korean and English songs available. Maluken draws many students and professors from nearby Boston University. It gets a little loud at times, but the crowd seems to enjoy it. Maluken serves beer, wine and sake. Review © 2009, Wcities |
