The List Visual Arts Center is located on the first floor of the Wiesner Building at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, one of the renowned universities in the country. MIT has collected and exhibited contemporary art since 1950 and it has 1,500 works on-site. This entertaining museum includes paintings, photographs and prints. The museum also showcases outdoor sculptures, experimental works, videos and architecture. The center features works by international, national and student artists. Admission is free.
