Placed just outside the hustle and bustle of Faneuil Hall, this haunting monument, built in 1995, is covered with etched numbers recalling the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. Six glass towers, representing the chimneys of World War II concentration camps, are designed to educate as well as commemorate this 20th-century tragedy. Review © 2009, Wcities
