This North End pizzeria first opened in 1926. Today, you'll find many branches of this popular local chain around Boston, but this flagship eatery is where to go for the authentic experience. The restaurant is small and resembles a bar more than a pizzeria, but the pizza is outstanding, featuring a thin crust and the Pizzeria Regina's own sauce. Traditional toppings are offered, as well as gourmet selections like roasted eggplant, jalapeno peppers and marinated artichoke hearts. Serves beer and wine. Does not accept credit cards, cash only.
