Furiously loyal to their home turf, the people of Southie play an important part in the neighborhood's charm. During good weather, it's common to see people outside and talking with their neighbors. In fact, the neighborhood practically defines 'community sprit.' The area is also known for its miles of waterfront parks ending at Castle Island.
