Head to Jackson Square for Mexican food at this small, inexpensive restaurant that has gained an almost cult-like following among young Jamaica Plain residents. The Mexican-born owner serves the real deal: tamales, south-of-the-border beer, goat stew, tacos and enchiladas. The weekend mariachi band provides some ambiance, but many patrons here are too engrossed in their delicious food to really notice.
