In the music industry, outdoor summer concert tours are known as "shed tours." This is the Boston area's shed. With both reserved and open lawn seating, this amphitheater can accommodate 19,000 spectators. From the lawn, and even some seated sections, views of the stage are not great. To provide a better view, giant video monitors are in place around the lawn and next to the stage. Numerous country, pop, and rock performers, including perennial summer favorites like Jimmy Buffet and the Steve Miller Band, play here between May and September. Review © 2009, Wcities |
