The classy decor of Wequassett Inn's Twenty Eight Atlantic is irresistably inviting. Wooden furnishings, pastel hues, ornamental chandeliers and a beautiful view of the Pleasant Bay make a beautiful setting. The innovative menu includes delights, such as braised lamb shank with black currants and creamy pumpkin polenta, and saffron infused ipswich clam chowder with porcini mushrooms. This restaurant is open in April for the summer months. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but it's definitely worth an experience here.
