Its sister restaurant, Sumida's Sushi Bar, shares the space, offering a choice of Japanese favorites. The decorative interior looks like a posh oriental painting. Choose traditional Thai seating or standard table and booths. Sweet and Sour Salmon, a true must, is the chef's specialty. The vegetarian crowd will find plenty of meatless offerings. Japanese items abound.

Brick walls and simple wooden tables and booths manage to create a casual, yet deceptively elegant feel. The Ocean Garden Salad, featuring a sorted mix of "hmm-what-is-this" sea vegetables, sets the tone for what to expect. Chilean Sea Bass and Tempeh Scaloppini are two of the more popular entrees. The bar serves organic beer and wine, and all of the deserts are free of refined sugar.
