Cafe de Paris has been well established in Kemp Town for several years. Food is of high quality and several set menus are good value at £8.95 and £10.95 per head. Main courses are all around the £8.00 mark. Vegetarians may be disappointed as meatless options are limited so if you don't eat flesh or fish it's probably wise to dine elsewhere. Crepe Dentelle may be relatively new, but the expert chef, Philippe, and his family have been making crepes for nearly 60 years. The restaurant itself is small and neat with candlelight and French music creating a charming ambience. The decor is very Breton with its blues and white. The more adventurous may want to try such starters as Les Frogs Legs (no translation needed), marinated with herbs and vegetables.
