Fountain House appeared on the busy Queens Road in the late 1990s. An impressive menu offers a delicious selection of speciality vegetarian and meat based dishes. Yellow walls, polished wooden floor and bright tablecloths give a cheerful ambience. At lunchtime the restaurant does not become too busy but evenings are more crowded. 26 starters are on offer and prices start at £1.80 for garlic bread. The more adventurous can sample dishes such as Sambousak, Batata Kibbey or Fatayer. Main meals will cost no more than £8.00 and begin at a mere fiver.
