Just next to the city, Fortitude Valley is the multicultural hub of Brisbane, and within it is the Asian microcosm of Chinatown. Ornate arches denote the entrance to the Chinatown Mall, where shoppers will find a number of Oriental market stores and herbalists offering Asian delicacies. Restaurants and cafes in the mall provide a delicious variety of Asian-style cuisine, including Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Malaysian and al fresco dining contributes to a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
