Native animals in their natural habitat |
West Burleigh Rd Brisbane, QLD 4220 |
This park lets us enjoy seeing Australian wildlife in natural habitat enclosures, with rare and threatened species featured. One exciting display is the platypus in the amazing Nocturnal House. A real thrill is the salt-water crocodile feeding. There are koalas, kangaroos, cassowaries, dingoes and the only Lumholtz's tree kangaroo on display in the world, a bird aviary, and other "creature feature" presentations. Local Aboriginal clans present cultural dances and show art and craft methods. Review © 2009, Wcities |
