Majestically sited overlooking Moreton Bay, this fine example of colonial architecture has been meticulously restored and furnished with authentic period pieces. Built around 1862, the Doric columns were cut from local cypress trees but were sent to England to be turned. Skilled workmen then came from Scotland for the construction. A glowing garden of azaleas, camellias, magnolias and other exotic flora from all over the world provides magnificent surrounds sweeping down to the shore.
