Close to the freeway provides easy access to this suburban synagogue in Greenslopes, just a short distance from the City. Although called South Brisbane Hebrew Congregation, it is not the suburb of South Brisbane, just south of the river. A single-storey red brick synagogue built in 1974, this contemporary building seats 200 and includes the praying area, social area, kosher kitchen and a mikveh (ritual bath).
