Blue Elephant

Thai that binds
1120 Chaussée de Waterloo
Brussels 1180
Belgium
+32 (0)2 374 4962
http://www.blueelephant.com/br...
Enjoy world-renowned Thai food in a room that breathes warmth and relaxation. Abounding in floral arrangements, deep yellow lighting, and colorfully painted walls, it is easy to imagine why the Blue Elephant has dozens of locations from London to Kuwait. Have the introductory Pad Thai dish, or for the more daring, the Salmon Curry's spices are especially aromatic, designed to make your mouth water before the first bite. With large private rooms, this restaurant is perfect for special parties, without leaving out their popular corner tables suitable for dinner for two.

Deux Maisons

Successful restaurant in two houses
81 Val des Seigneurs
Brussels 1150
Belgium
+32 (0)2 771 1447
http://www.lesdeuxmaisons.be/
Dine here and enjoy an unforgettable evening! This restaurant spread throughout two houses, hence the name, has enjoyed success over a number of years. Chef Pierre Demartin is one of the most creative chefs in Brussels. His warm dining room is decorated in Italian style with terracotta washed walls. The menu is Franco-Belgian, the food exceptional and the prices reasonable. Highly recommended!

Loui

Elegant restaurant at the Conrad
71 Avenue Louise
Conrad Brussels Hotel
Brussels 1050
Belgium
+32 (0)2 542 4242 (Hotel)
http://conradhotels.hilton.com...
Pascal Silman, the chef in charge of this gourmet restaurant at the Conrad International Brussels, has polished his art in some of France's best Michelin-star restaurants. Today, his star shines over Brussels, with seasonal favorites like Wild Mushrooms in October and delicious Foie Gras in November. In fact, the entire menu is seasonal, but there is always a wonderful assortment of meat and fish dishes available. The restaurant has a new maître d'hotel and also a new sommelier who presents a wine list brimming with choices to compliment any dish.

This beautiful restaurant, situated in an early 1920's villa, is located in the residential area of Stockel. Recently refurbished in warm Italian colours, you will be able to taste creative cuisine, inspired by the Italians and the French. The atmosphere is calm and cosy and the service is efficient and friendly.

Oceanis

Nice little restaurant
202 Rue Sainte-Lambert
Woluwe Shopping Centre
Brussels 1200
Belgium
+32 (0)2 771 9454
On the ground floor of the Woluwe Shopping Centre you will find this wonderful Parisian-style restaurant, to which a quality fish shop is attached. While it is quite small, it has lots of charm and a buzzing atmosphere. The cuisine is French and Belgian (try the mussel menu!) and of a high quality. This is not a restaurant to travel all the way to Woluwe for, but if you're in the neighbourhood, this is a perfect place to dine.

Soeur du Patron

Trendy restaurant with relaxed atmosphere
1700 Chaussée de Wavre
Brussels 1160
Belgium
+32 (0)2 675 0092
http://www.lasoeurdupatron.be/
A glass roof that during the summer months can be pushed away, stone vaults and a labyrinth-style dining area make this family restaurant a fascinating place to eat. The establishment's partially painted walls round out the creative visual ambiance; its a daring combination that beams adventure. The menu is daring as well, offering many exotic dishes. Choose between several types of carpaccios, dishes with a special preparation that includes freezing the item and thinly slicing then cooking.
