There is a large shop on the Boulevard de Waterloo where the Versace line is sold, now designed by his sister Donatella. Only the expensive designs are sold here. There is also a good selection of English-language magazines and newspapers to choose from, but the Sunday New York Times can only be bought the following Wednesday. Librairie des Etangs - International Bookshop is indeed an international bookshop. There are numerous books in Spanish, Italian, English, German, French and Dutch. On the first floor there is a tearoom where chess players often gather. This is also the place where literary debates are held. On the top floor there is even a small theater with 27 seats.
