Brussels 1060
Belgium
+32 (0)2 513 0748

This store sells mostly clothes for both men and women. It has been in business since 1932, and also calls itself a tailor and shirt-maker. Sharp-looking pairs of shoes for men are on sale, as are some nifty shoe-shine sets and a nice selection of ties. Men's suits can be purchased off the rack or be tailormade. For women, the clothing ranges from bikini bathing suits to classic women's sweaters.

Zegna may not be as popular as Armani, but the truly hip man will be familiar with this brand. Find classic cuts and designs, such as knitted black three quarter length coats, simple but sophisticated suits, and plain, woollen jumpers. Comfort is another of Zegna's priorities, with an emphasis on soft, wearable fabrics like cashmere, silk and mohair. They also stock an up market range of shirts, ties and accessories. Definitely for the discerning gentleman!

Gianni Versace

High fashion
63-64 Boulevard de Waterloo
Brussels 1000
Belgium

Gianni Versace was a very famous designer who was shot in front of his own house. There is a large shop on the Boulevard de Waterloo where the Versace line is sold, now designed by his sister Donatella. Only the expensive designs are sold here. It is no use looking around for cheaper designs such as Versace jeans. Versace is better known on the catwalk in Milan or Paris, since it is not everyday clothing.

Maison Natan was founded in 1930, and the business was taken over by designer Edouard Vermeulen in 1983. Since then, business is booming. Natan now runs seven stores, some of which are in Germany, and two of which are in Brussels. This one, an imposing mansion where the brand was founded, is truly magnificent. Natan's wares are definitely beautiful, and if you love traditional fashion, this is an address to remember.
