The Buda hills are green and leafy, and this small one-star hotel rests mid-way up them in the twelfth district. Transport to the center is easiest by tram. This is an excellent location if you are interested in exploring the hills. The cog-wheel railway is within easy access, and you may just discover that one of the main charms of Budapest is in fact these very hills. Many of the homes in the area could be described as palatial, with sweeping panoramic views down over the Danube, Gellert Hill, the Parliament and more.
