Mescalero's has been one of Calgary's better restaurants for a number of years, offering California cuisine and tapas with a Southwestern flare. Unusual offerings, like Grilled Scallops on Butter Lettuce and Radicchio (CAD12) and Peruvian Brick-style Chicken Breast Supreme (CAD21), share the menu with more conventional fare—Portobello Quesadillas, for example (CAD9).
