There is something special about this busy café: the staff and much of the clientele seem to be composed of writers, musicians or artists of one stripe or another. The benches outside give coffee-sippers a vantage point from which to spy on passers-by. The walls are regularly adorned with work from local artists, though you might have to peer through a bluish nicotine blur to see it.
