The Blue House Café is a good place to go if you're looking for something a little different in a dining experience. The lighting is refined and simple; the art is eclectic and the ambience, warm and inviting. It is a lively place where singers and musicians perform spirited Latin American music and original music compositions. Since salsa culture has become Calgary's latest craze, the owners of Casa must be smiling smugly: they have been offering the food, music and spirits of Latin America for years. The large menu includes classics such as ceviche, sopes, burritos, and steak and seafood dishes. There are also Italian dishes with a Latin American influence, such as fettuccini with cactus paddles and pizzas topped with chayote squash.
