If you have never had the pleasure of seeing a belly-dancer perform, drop by the Istanbul on a Saturday night when the dancer has the whole house on its feet and rocking to the music. The decor is decidedly Middle Eastern, with lots of rich colors and fabrics, and the food is an enticingly spicy Greek and Arabic mix. Prices are very reasonable—a filling meal will cost anywhere from CAD 2-12. Wine, domestic and imported beers, and a small selection of mixed drinks are available.
