If you've been missing home or simply have a desire for something basically British, then ex-patriate owners Anne and Dave Walker have achieved their goal. Found in the Eau Claire Market, the store aims to cater to everybody and to make a selection of the UK's favorite things available for us to enjoy in Calgary. They import British candies and chocolates, newspapers and magazines. Also extremely heart-warming are the range of grocery items, such as Irish oatmeal and popular breakfast cereals, teas and cookies.

Located in the Market Mall, Cookies by George is a Canadian favorite. The cookie store combines well with the wide range of food stalls set up at the food court. Each cookie type has the basic Chocolate Chunk flavor. Varied flavors accompany these chocolate chunk cookies. If you're crazy about nuts, you can choose between Reverse Almond and Macadamian Chocolate Chunk Cookies. If experimentation with flavors in cookies isn't your thing, then take a pick between the peanut-butter and milk flavors. The Chewy Oatmeal Raisin is a welcome entry of dry fruits into the cookies. The Double Chocolate Chunk is for those who can't get enough chocolate. Of course, there's a host of beverages available to accompany the cookies.
