Some of the freshest Vietnamese and Mongolian food in the city can be found 10 minutes from downtown along Memorial Drive South-East. The thatched ceiling and artificial jackfruit trees scattered throughout this establishment lend a jungle-like ambience that you wouldn't expect to find in a strip mall. Though some items on the menu are unfamiliar to diners, the friendly staff take the time to explain the contents and preparation of each meal. The large portions and low price of the "Genghis Kahn Grill" stir fry is a favorite with the budget conscious. A meal, minus alcoholic drinks, will cost anywhere from CAD3-10.
